Sometimes as an artist you come across a certain image and you just have to paint it, this is one of those images. I added the badges to the cap as I like to bring in a bit of a story into why she looks so forlorn staring off into the distance. She would much rather be saving the world than doing whatever she was doing. Maybe we all have those moments in time as well.
